Cathey Sweeney, Executive Director
Cathey joined Wilson County CASA as Executive Director in December 2014.  Cathey is an alumnus of MTSU with a degree in criminal justice. Cathey comes to us with 26 years of non-profit experience.
 

 

Amy Harris

Amy Harris, Program Director
Amy has been with Wilson County CASA since January 2008. In her role as Program Director, Amy is responsible for supervising and supporting volunteers who are advocating for children. Prior to coming to Wilson County CASA, Amy served in the same role with a GAL program in Georgetown, South Carolina. Prior to her position with the GAL program in South Carolina, Amy was a GAL volunteer with that program. Amy is a graduate of Miami University (Ohio).

 

Diana Haines

Diana Haines, Program Director
Diana joined CASA in July 2009, first in a position as a Program Director during the Smith County expansion, and then transferred to a Program Director position in Wilson County as a result of the tremendous amount of growth that Wilson County was experiencing. In her role as Program Director, Diana is responsible for supervising and supporting volunteers who are advocating for children. Prior to becoming a staff member, Diana was a CASA volunteer with Wilson County CASA. Diana is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.

Lauren Smith, Volunteer Coordinator
Lauren joined Wilson County CASA in January 2012. In her role as the Volunteer Coordinator, Lauren is the first line of contact for all volunteers. She ensures training is up-to-date for current volunteers and tells volunteers that it is her responsibility to make sure they're having fun. Prior to coming on staff, Lauren was a CASA volunteer with Wilson County CASA. Lauren is a graduate of Cumberland University.

Sarah Smith, Program Director Assistant

Sarah first joined Wilson County CASA in February 2015 as an intern while completing her Bachelor of Science degree. She then rejoined the CASA team in February 2016. In her role as a part-time program director’s assistant, Sarah assists the program directors by making sure casework and all required documentation and records are kept up to date. Sarah is currently enrolled in the Master Social Work program at MTSU.
